The south county area is once again feeling the high pressure of regional development. Many of these projects affect residents outside their boundaries. The proposed Sierra Reflections 960 home development west of Pleasant Valley and North of Washoe Valley for instance. Residents and experts have identified potential regional negative effects to residents and property values in neighboring neighborhoods. Fires, floods, toxic contaminations, traffic, public safety, water, sewer, cultural resources, schools may all be impacted by this one development. So we've defined this area of common concerns to report on, keep track of and provide alerts to coming issues and follow up on current issues.
