As many have already heard, a new Costco is planned for the vacant 16 acres at the northeast corner of Hwy 431 (Mt Rose Hwy) and South Virginia. The plans call for the warehouse store, gas station and car wash. The plans also hope to connect Damonte Ranch Parkway with Veterans Parkway although land acquisition hasn’t been available at this time. An alternate route is connection to Old Virginia Road.
The project is still in the planning and approval stages and no construction schedule has been set that we know of. This is in the City of Reno so their planning department is the approval agency.
